J.D. Chisolm was born and raised in Clinton, MS. After Chisolm graduated from Hillcrest Christian School he obtained a  degree in Construction Engineering from Hinds Community College. He married to his longtime love and high school sweetheart Britney and together they have two wonderful sons - Graham and Grey. Chisolm and his wife both work, but despite their busy schedules they prioritize family time. The whole family shares a love for soccer and football.

In 2008 the housing market was down and Chisolm’s parents house was too - burned to the ground. Chisolm stepped in and built a  new home for his parents. That house became the foundation for Chisolm Construction LLC, which he founded in 2011. J.D. Chisolm Construction, LLC, provides custom home building throughout the greater Jackson-metro area. The company builds in premier neighborhoods primarily located in the cities of Madison and Clinton, Mississippi. The company currently builds throughout the year with 6-10 projects managed simultaneously.
